Reproductive Health

Did you know that your fertility can be affected by your general health and well-being?
Your body needs a very specific set of circumstances to conceive and carry a healthy child to term.
You need plentiful stores of the right nutrients to support fertility, conception, and prevent hormone imbalance.

Did You Know?

  • Approximately 40% of infertility is attributed to female reproductive issues and 40% to issues with sperm
  • 1/3 of all cases are due to a combination of male and female issues
  • A decrease in fertility, 'subfertility', does not necessarily mean you are infertile
  • Fertility can be improved with nutrition, lifestyle and healthcare
  • Maternal health and nutrition can impact IVF success
  • Poor maternal health and nutrition is linked to early childhood immune and nervous system conditions

Fertility Awareness Education

Are You Missing a Step in Your Fertility Plan?

Did you know the key to natural fertility management is getting familiar with your cycle?
  • 1 in 6 couples have trouble conceiving
  • 94% of women believe they should receive fertility-awareness education upon first reporting conception difficulties to their GP.
  • Poor fertility-awareness is a contributing factor to infertility.
  • In one study, 86% of women attending Australian assisted reproductive technology clinics had tried to improve their fertility-awareness.
Of these women, 68% believed they had accurately identified their 'fertile window', but only 12% were correct (Hampton, Mazza, & Newton, 2013).
  • A trained teacher in Fertility Education (APNA endorsed) can help you correctly identify your 'fertile window' and improve your chances of conceiving naturally.

Consultations

Attend an initial Fertility Awareness Consultation to discuss nutrition, lifestyle and healthcare with our fertility educator. Begin your fertility-awareness education from day one!

Attend three tutorials in the first month to learn the method. Attend monthly consultations for five months to receive advice on your charting technique (Total 8 sessions over 6 months that include charting education and healthcare advice.

After 3 full menstrual cycles many women can correctly identify their 'fertile window' (this may vary with nutrition, lifestyle and reproductive health).
Recommended Training period is 6-months*.
If you are also receiving reproductive healthcare the improvements will be visible in your menstrual cycle pattern with a more regular cycle emerging over this time.
